For the last 23 years, Marshall Engineering Corporation has helped transportation/Aviation clients reach a successful conclusion with MEP projects ranging from site studies/reports, lighting upgrades, chilled water expansion and lift stations, aviation de-icing pads, fueling systems, humidity and condensation issues, physical plant maintenance facilities and vehicle maintenance facilities and a variety of projects for the Metropolitan Transit Authority.
METRO - Polk & Kashmere Bus Operating Facility
MEC provided electrical engineering and design services for METRO's Polk and Kashmere Bus Operating Facilities. The project included new and relocated fuel dispensing systems, vehicle fluids dispensing and collection systems, and site lighting where required, ensuring the facilities met operational demands.

METRO - Northwest Transit Center Expansion
MEC provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering and design services for the renovation of the Canopy, Driver Relief Station, and Ride Station at METRO’s Northwest Transit Center. The project aimed to upgrade the facility's infrastructure to better serve transit users.

North West Transit Center Expansion
Marshall Engineering Corporation (MEC) provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design of a driver relief station including men and women restrooms, a new utility building inclusive of electrical distribution and lighting controls, platform lighting, design bid support and construction administration.

United Tech Ops Center Project
Marshall Engineering Corporation (MEC) provided engineering and design services associated with the installation of fueling pits for the United Airlines 2.5 WB Hangar Apron Fueling Station at Bush IAH, Houston, Texas. The scope consisted of a fuel vault to be used for tie-in of fueling lines to the existing circulation system, fueling line design, plan and profile drawings, aircraft fuel pit details, grounding details, emergency shut-off, cathodic protection. The system included a fueling loop of two independent fueling circuits.

Dallas/Fort Worth Freezer Additions
Marshall Engineering Corporation (MEC) provided MEP engineering and support for the freezer addition at Sky Chefs production facility at the Dallas/Ft. Worth Airport. The existing dry storage was converted into a 3- degree freezer and the existing freezer was converted into dry storage. MEC provided professional consulting on the freezer design, as well as design for demolition of an existing office and the expansion of an existing office within the facility.
Additional work included providing the reconfiguration of electrical services to facilitate purchased material equipment, as well as coordination and construction administration.

Sky Chefs Love Field Warehouse
Marshall Engineering Corporation (MEC) provided MEP engineering and support for a warehouse renovation near Love Field, Dallas. The building was approximately 23,000 SF, fully sprinkled and air conditioned. Modifications to the building included the addition of a 640 SF working cooler, conversion of an existing space to locker rooms, installation of a glassware machine, installation of an employee commissary area, structural assessment for roof mounted equipment, and racking support.

Terminal A Vertical Circulation
Marshall Engineering Corporation (MEC) provided Fuel System design and engineering for the Terminal A Bus Commuter Gate. The services included modification to the fuel dispensing system at Terminal A to accommodate the planned Terminal A Bus Terminal, as well as the modification of two existing fueling stations.

Hobby Airport- North Apron Environmental Protection System
Marshall Engineering Corporation (MEC) provided Mechanical and electrical design and engineering for environmental protection facilities, including lift stations, oil/water separators and digital environmental monitoring system at Hobby Airport

Terminal C&E Baggage Handling Express
Marshall Engineering Corporation (MEC) provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) engineering and design for the installation baggage handling improvements at Bush Intercontinental Airport. The project consisted of the installing baggage conveyors, controls, motor control centers associated with the system. The scope also involved the relocation of existing utilities as required to facilitate conveyor installation.

Wing Aviation HANGAR
MEC provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering and design for the renovation to the Wing Aviation Hangar at Hobby Airport. Deliverables included mechanical, electrical, plumbing and lighting plans and details, documentation of existing MEP systems, fire alarm plan and details and energy analysis per IECC.

Metro Burnett Station
MEC performed as the project manager for this project and provided electrical and lighting design for the Burnett Street Improvement Project. The scope included relocation of existing lighting and power, and the addition of lighting and electrical supply per the City of Houston. The scope also included service rebuild for Metro Burnett Street Station.
